Evil people hurt others with no remorse. Some would like to just put them away and feel that is punishment is enough. So what if they get out and do of again? What if the number of people they hurt can not be fixed? At what point in time do we decide that an evil must be removed to save those that are innocent? Then some would say who gets to make that choice? If it came down to my loved ones than it's me. What's your opinion?

My Football Mood

First of all I hope the Christmas holiday was good for everyone. I was pleased with the outcome of the day for the most part. I say this in reference to my little angles deciding to become heathens while playing with their new toys. Oh, well children are interesting to no in and we have them not to criticize their movements and behavior but because we love them.

On to the topic at hand football, I love the sport and cannot wait until the season rolls around every year. To me it begins in April which is time for the draft. I cannot wait until that moment to see who my teams is going to pickup to see if the needs are going to be filled on either side of the ball. My wife of course is not that happy because my wedding anniversary happens to be around the same time as that joyous occasion of pigskin player gambling. I love the game and always have, from the moment I got a chance to sneak onto the football squad my freshmen year in high school. My mother, tough, loud mean lady that she was would not allow her baby boy to participate in our oh so natural gladiatorial sport. I could never understand it though, this was a woman who affectionately referred to me as asshole and told me to stop calling her mom because she was tired of answering to it. Your probably wondering the same thing I am, how could a woman of this ilk not want me to play football? I guess she had a soft spot after all.

I love the sport so much that it has at times reduced me to a cheering, blubbering idiot of joy. Other times I have damaged things in my house and used words not becoming of Christian (which I’m working on that anyway because I’m not a very good one yet anyway). As I’ve gotten older though I’m beginning to realize that decisions are made that don’t involve me at all so just the over it.

Failure

Today I went to take my CCENT exam. For the non geek that is the Certified Cisco Entry level technician. First of all it was freaking hard. I’ve never taken a test like that before. I can’t really discuss what was on it because of the restrictions. Let’s just say I failed. I’m so pissed with that I failed and it’s hard for me to cope with. I haven’t failed anything since chemistry in high school. All other things I’ve been descent at. I have another shot to take the test for free and don’t plan on failing again. You know the worst part of the situation is that I had to tell my sons I failed. It was a good opportunity to tell them that daddy has to keep trying.

E3 2010: Why Did People Protest Six Days in Fallujah But Not Medal of Honor? - PlayStation 3 Feature at IGN

iraq-war-soldiers Okay this is a little closer to my heart, gaming. I enjoy playing a large variety of games especially war games. Not because of some sadistic desire to kill but to defend. My father was a Marine an many of the other men in my family were military personnel. Even my wife’s grandparents served. I was unable to do so because of health reasons which has always left a bad taste in my mouth.

I wanted to grow up being like my father a man who put his life on the line to serve our country and protect it’s people against foreign and domestic enemies. So when Six Days in Fallujah was protested it made me wonder what were people really thinking. I mean really, people have been playing war games for a long time and when one comes out that actually is going to depict what our soldiers go through people bitch. Some of the folks that were not that happy should maybe sit and talk with a soldier to get their prospective on what going on in their lives and also what has transpired in the hell we call war.

For the rest of us gamers, we play the games for many reasons, myself to get a little glimpse of what my father and some of his mates went through. Also put a few bullets into the bad guys.

Okay I have to get this little blurb off my chest. People, stop with the hollier-than-thou attitudes. If there was a spotlight on you 24/7 I'd bet people wouldn't think you were so hot all the time either. Start checking your life before judging someone elses. By the way, no I'm not perfect. It's just my opinion.

Titans QB: 'I made a mistake'

This is what I wonder why in the world are you even in the club. First of all you have enough money to just have somebody go in and bring the ladies out to you. I also don’t understand why he doesn’t have a guy name Bruno who likes to knock people out for a check.

The fact that he would even swing at someone with his throwing hand make him look even more like an idiot. Don’t get me wrong I like Vince but he has got to make better decisions. People keep saying he’s young but that excuse has got to quit and soon.
