Even The Warriors of the Gridiron Cry.

Oh it's football time in Tennessee! As everyone knows or should I say everyone that follows football, Vince "Invincible" Young has had a little bit of a rough start this year. In his first game he threw two interceptions and was hurt during a pass. All these things are a part of playing the game but that's where the similarities of the game to most other football situations stop. The resulting situation was a storm of controversy in the surrounding Tennessee areas. Basically what we all saw was a pouting, dejected superstar not wanting to be consoled by his teammates or coaches. Then the very next day we have reports of Vince maybe being a danger to himself. Normally that would just be a report except the cops were called. Of course all turned out to be okay. Now we have a different quarterback(Kerry Collins) and a coach that basically is saying that the job is his until he screws up or they finds someone better. Some people are saying that Vince has not made good with his teammates over the apparent perception of him not wanting to return to the game and help his team. Mind you a game that they were winning and did win.

Okay as far as I go, I am a hardcore Titans fan and just want my team to win. In today's game it's hard to be a fan of just a player. Due to free agency and injury you just can't follow a guy for his career because your sports heart can be broken. But I just happen to like Vince Young, three out of four people in my house have Vince Young Jerseys. Hell I even have Vince Young Reeboks. I understand life can throw some things at you that can be hard to handle at times and you feel like no one is on your side but sometimes appearances can be deceiving. Vince there are a lot of fans of yours out there, not just because of football but because of your charities, attitude, and reputation. For me personally, I appreciate the example that you set by going back to college to finish your degree even when people were negative about that. I hope that you can realize that you have a God-given talent and were meant to do what you do for a reason. Your telling me your going to be a champion at every level of amateur football and at life, but with all the bull that has been put in front of you, you are going to give up now? F@#k that! Get your head on, grab that ball and prove to the people who root for you (and to the ones who don't) that you can lead this team to several Super Bowls and wins. Good luck brother and hang in there, just follow your purpose.
