I have a simple goal in mind for this post. To challenge your thought process in what you consider to be mature. Especially when it come to men. Don't worry fellas after I tear us down I will build us back up. Let us begin with responsibility. Guys let's be real, some of us have shucked all but a few of our most daunting tasks that we should be handling. Washing the car, removing the trash, cutting the grass, taking care of our children that we made either with a woman we knew, didn't know, liked. loved, etc., etc. Now of course only that last little chore is the only one of these on that list that matter fully. I've been down that road before so I won't beat a dead horse. So for those who know that's where your screwing up get off your ass and take care of it. Guys all I'm asking is just do the little things that make your life and mine easier.
Listen, fellas, we like to do things that some women and uptight sissy boys may consider to be immature. And before I get responses form someone who thinks that when I used the word sissy that I may be referring to someone being gay, get over it. I don't give a damn if you are gay, this is for the guys. Don't care what your sexual pleasure is, so don't leave me a response on it. Back to the subject, guys like to have fun in some of the most simple ways. Here are some examples: gaming, hunting, fishing, recreational sports. and watching some sporting event on television that we may find completely enthralling to the point we don't respond to our significant other. What's interesting is when a man works all day, comes home has dinner with his wife and kids, takes care of a few chores around the house, and then settles in for some feverish online gaming some may say "Oh he's so immature!" Why? When my wife can spend a few hours in a store looking at shoes and purses do I proclaim how immature it is that a woman can look at several different garments that she has no matching clothes or even an event or an occasion to wear them to? Just her saying they will come in handy later is all I need.
Point blank, if a man's entertainment does not keep him from going to work, taking care of his family or destroying someone's life leave us the hell alone. That little piece of "immature" entertainment may be the only thing between us and jail time due to the regular stress of life.

Many people want to use the label "immature" when describing many people, men especially. I offer that being immature simply means that you don't take care of your responsibilities. Men - playing games, sports, or doing whatever it is that you do is not an indication that you are immature. It only indicates to us women where your interests lie. (Women, if you want to make your man happy, it would behoove you to know his interests!) When I read a book, watch a movie, or otherwise occupy myself with things that interest me, I am not and should not be considered immature. Doing the things that we enjoy allows us to be the mature person we need to be when it is required. Now, let your hobbies and interests get in the way of taking care of business - that's being immature!
